    My winter wheel/tire combo

Finally got our winter wheel/tire combo installed!

Wheel: 16 x 6.5", 5" backspace, steel, sparkle silver (painted)
Wheel Spacer: 1/4" thick aluminum alloy (required on the front because of the shape of the brake calipers)
Tire: Bridgestone Blizzak LM25 RFT, 205/55-16.

I run Blizzaks on my Challenger, and like them. Not just for their winter performance, but because I don't have to compromise for summer performance with an "all-season" tire.

What kind of lug nuts are those?

They're not lug nuts, actually, but lug bolts (I didn't know the Dart had bolts instead of studs and lug nuts until I pulled a wheel off our own car!). Because longer ones are necessary with spacers, and spacers are necessary with aftermarket 16" steel wheels, we made the lug bolts part of our wheel spacer package.

After I do a few hundred miles of datalogging, I'm going to be putting spun stainless ultra-slick "Bonneville" style aero wheel covers on, to increase MPG.

A little off-topic... later, I plan on getting the 5-spoke 18" Hyper Black alloys from Mopar for our new "summer" wheels. Haven't decided on a tire yet.

I was told by the dealer I had to get 17" snows and rims because of the size of the brake calipers ( got 5 spoke steel rims) with goodyear ultra grip ice. They had me waiting because of the spacers were not ordered, Great traction in the snow car handles well, once got stuck entering my driveway because of the city plow blocked my entrance had to turn off the traction control to get out

Looking good! Are you going to stick with those wheels for the next winters coming up or going to get some nicer looking wheels for winter?

I decided to go another route and just bought aftermarket wheels off Tire Rack that are pretty much the same dimensions as stock and used the stock Tire size for my wintertires. I did not want to deal with spacers and longer lug bolts.
This thing handles great in the snow.
